I’m really disappointed!!!
We came here with four persons. All of them ordered the “drie gangen menu”, I wasn’t so hungry so I ordered a starter as a main dish. I got it with the others as the starter. I told the waiter that he did a mistake, cause i ordered it different. They did not apology, or changed anything… that’s not okay! After that no one of the waiter came to us, for drinks or something else.
The view was amazing. BUT it would be good if the panes of glass were cleaned once in a while.
The food was very tasty and nicely presented. The three course menu (starter, main course, dessert) offers many options and the price is good.
The service is very friendly and although we hadn't reserved a table, we were able to get a table. I can only recommend it.

A wonderful place for casual drinks or even a really nice dinner. The restaurant is running a special on cocktails during the months of April-June ‘23 so my partner and I decided to take them up on it.
My initial impressions of the actual restaurant was that the ambiance is extremely warm and inviting. Open and airy (but not to the elements) table spacing is reasonable and the staff are welcoming.
The special is basically 5€ for the menu cocktails between 5-6pm for the above mentioned duration. We started off with an order of Fries, Bitterballen, a Fizzy Peach Tree and a Mojito. The order was prepared and at our table in less than 10 minutes which I would say is great for service standards. Even though it is a special the drinks do not seem to be “watered down” and they do taste really nice! The fresh garnishes really add that fancy touch.
On to the finger food. I have to say..these were the crispiest fries I’ve had in a LONG time. It seemed as if they were straight out the fryer. I could have easily eaten two baskets by myself. They were that good! Again, the bitterballen was hot and crispy and everything tasted like it was made with love! After our first round of drinks and food we decided to try the Frozen Daiquiri and a Watermelon Fizz. Really yummy and at this point the alcohol was beginning to take effect!
Our waitress, on her first day at the job, was really attentive to our needs and did such a great job :) She brought our food and drinks with a smile and I couldn’t ask of more from her. A true customer service champ! We finished off with Pornstar Martinis which were the best tasting drinks out of the bunch we ordered but that can easily just be due to my taste preferences. The total came up to 40 euros for two persons which is quite reasonable.
All in all I really loved my experience at Humphrey’s from the food to the customer service and because of this I will definitely be back again!

Edit: Went back a second time at Humphrey’s for the drinks special and maybe the waitress was having a bad day but her service wasn’t really good. To be fair, her service was terrible. When service is good it’s really good but when it’s bad it’s really off-putting. Rating reduced to 4 stars.
Location: very well situated, I had a nice view on the pier and the charming night lights of the beach. Staff: friendly but at the same time professional and attentive. Dishes: I liked the plating of the shitake tartare, the rest was average for me. Taste: I was expecting some overwhelming sensation which always failed a bit to come, I do not get why they added fries, cucumber salad and not-at all crunchy sour cabbage to the fish plate which already contained vegetables, these were not matching anyway...probably just a few stewed cherry tomatoes and olives would have been enough. The chocolate fondant was perfect, by the book. Price: I was surprised that in a posh location like this they made me pay less than 50Eur, overall I felt really good and I would like to repeat the experience some day.
Restaurant looks beautiful and stylish. Sea view from the terrace is awesome.
Service is awful, no one is catering about guests. You can wait for ages. Special meal - meat was dry, nothing special, definitely not worth of its price. Special meal fish - that was perfect, but still overpriced (ca.50 EUR).
Most important - do not rely on the amount to pay which is announced bu the waiter! Ask for the paper bill, you will be surprised when you will see that the total amount will be significantly lower (they have explained that they have forgotten to delete some meal, which was not ordered, it did not sound to be true…).
Will never come here again.
This restaurant looks like it has all the potential with a beautiful interior and exterior. However the food was pretty grim, and then lots of service let downs eg no cutlery, no kids menu, the food took 45 mins when there were only 8 …
Would be better if the employees could leave their emotinal problems and experiences outside of work. A racist incident just happened in this restaurant with a guest. It was definitely not a professional way to behave in such a situation. …
We had a fantastic evening there . The stuff is very friendly and considerate. The dinner was very good, the meat excellent.
